Further efforts are soon to get underway to combat wild dogs in high country national parks. The National Parks and Wildlife Service will begin an aerial baiting program next month in the Kosciuszko, Yaouk and Scabby Range reserves in conjunction with local wild dog eradication associations. The Cooma Rural Lands Protection Board will carry out a similar program on neighbouring private property as part of a coordinated approach to the problem.
